Spent Rp 1.2mio for 2 people. We got 2 pasta, 1 lamb shoulder, 1 dessert, and 5 non alcoholic beverages Love all the food. My favorite part is their signature dessert (soaked brioche with orange ice cream)
The restaurant is hidden in the corner but it's quiet and has a relaxing ambiance. Nice authentic Italian menu. Good food, and the pasta is cooked al dante, which is very important. Good grilled octopus and pizza. Good coffee too. They have great cheese selection, explained by their native Italian manager.
Ordered the Rigatoni Carbonara and Braised Beef Cheek. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, well-balanced and perfectly cooked. The service were perfect, and the staff paid close attention to us. They were thoughtful and responsive to our needs. Highly recommended!
Service: The waiter were so friendly and have quick response. They gave us best recommendation from the menu and understand all of our question about the food and even described in detail regarding the taste and ingredients. Food: My favorite is the Pistachio Pasta (not sure what is the full name), the waiter recommended it and turns out it has a great and unique taste with a hint of nutty texture. There were 3 appetiser including the welcoming bread. They gave us mini potato with good presentation (they look like stones) and also crackers. I like the cracker more. Ambience: It was not too crowded, just like usual Italian dining experience in other restaurants. Sometimes I smell something is burnt from the kitchen. No maximum time applied in this resto.
Amazing Italian cuisine (Casa Alba served His Holiness Pope Francis during his visit in Indonesia), but what makes them even more special is the welcoming and warm attitude of the staff, combined with the atmosphere. It is a kind of fine grade restaurant, but not intimidating. Kind of "feels like home". The tables are spaced evenly, perfectly, so even though the restaurant was almost full during our visit, we did not feel that it was crowded or so. What made our visit special is that Michele - General Manager of this place - was around, and he casually, humbly talked and took care of us warm heartedly at ease. After finishing our meal during our special occasion, he even shared with us amazing limoncello from his personal collection - I think so. So if you are trying to find a combination of: a homey fine-grade Italian restaurant + delicious food at a reasonable price + very warm service, I think you should consider Casa Alba.
The pizza with cheese and truffle oil was great. The rest was just OK. Maybe italians would have loved it but my lidah indo ga cocok aja si sama bebek + saus wine. Next time maybe we would want to try the pasta options. Service 9/10 Parking space 5/10, ada vallet
Had a great experience in this italian casa. We tried all the food that the Pope has eaten during his visit in Indonesia. Those are Gnocchi and. Pappardelle. Furthermore, we also ordered the classic Margherita pizza. You can never get wrong with this classic. In the end, we will definitely come back soon! Keep the good work.
We came hungry and ordered a lot — and to our surprise, every single dish was exceptional. From the warm, crusty bread basket that started our meal to the beautifully crafted mains and indulgent desserts, Casa Alva delivered consistently delicious plates across the board. The ingredients tasted fresh, the flavors were balanced, and you could tell there was passion behind every dish. It’s rare to enjoy everything you try at a restaurant, but this was one of those rare and wonderful dining experiences. With its cozy ambience and spot-on service, Casa Alva has officially earned a spot among my favorite Italian restaurants in Jakarta. Highly recommended for a date night, family dinner, or just a well-deserved treat! Buonissimo!
